The project "United Against Violence Against Women and Girls During and After the COVID-19 Pandemic" in Jordan, funded by the United Nations Trust Fund to End Violence Against Women in Jordan, aims to provide better protection for women and girls in the governorates of Amman, Balqa, Ajloun, Irbid, and Madaba who are at risk of gender-based violence due to the spread of the coronavirus and the associated restrictions. These restrictions have led to a significant increase in cases of violence against women and girls since March 2020.
