Lawyer Samar Al-Jabrah and psychologist Salma Ramzi took part in a training organized by the National Center for Human Rights, titled “Monitoring and Documenting Human Rights Violations”, which was held over two training days at the Hilton Hotel in Amman.
The training covered key topics including the definition of human rights, the role of the National Center in protecting and promoting these rights, as well as international human rights mechanisms and monitoring techniques.
During the training, Mrs. Samar Al-Jabra highlighted the important role played by Solidarity Is Global Institute-JO (SIGI) as a civil society organization concerned with women's rights. She emphasized SIGI’s work through legal awareness sessions, providing legal consultations to women, and offering court representation services within specific frameworks. She also noted the organization’s broader role in promoting the concept of human rights.
Ms. Salma Ramzi also stressed the need for psychological support for individuals who experience violations of their rights, pointing out that mental well-being is just as important as legal protection. She highlighted SIGI’s role in providing psychological and social support to women through a team of highly qualified specialists.
