The Jordanian Women’s Solidarity Institute (Tadamon) participated in the closing ceremony of the project “Developing the Local Economy Towards a More Resilient Agricultural Sector through the Water-Energy-Food-Ecosystems Nexus Approach,” with the participation of official entities, civil society organizations, and international partners.

The event included discussion sessions and presentations highlighting the project’s impact, in addition to showcasing the experiences of beneficiaries and the challenges facing the agricultural sector, as well as displaying products from a number of small-scale farmers.

The association affirmed that its participation comes as part of strengthening cooperation and exchanging expertise, and benefiting from the outcomes presented during the event, in a way that supports the development of its future interventions.

“Tadamon” also indicated its intention to work with various partners to develop initiatives aimed at supporting and empowering women, particularly owners of small agricultural enterprises, especially those facing challenges in sustainability or in need of support to enhance their opportunities.

It further emphasized the importance of involving the local community in designing and implementing these initiatives, in order to achieve sustainable impact and improve livelihoods.
