Amman – The hybrid international scientific conference entitled “The Psychological Geology of Societies: Youth Potential and Re-establishing the Arab Value-Based Depth” was held under the patronage of His Excellency Professor Dr. Adnan Badran and organized by the BRC International Scientific Foundation, in partnership with the Jordanian Women’s Solidarity Institute “Tadamon” and a number of scientific and academic institutions.

“Tadamon” participated in the conference through its scientific contribution to the first session, entitled “Empowering Youth and Rebuilding Identity and Values.” During the session, Ms. Inaam Al-Asha, Executive Director of “Tadamon,” and Ms. Samar Al-Jabra, Legal Consultant, presented a specialized research paper entitled:

“The Role of Legislation in Building Youth’s Value-Based Resilience in Responding to Digital Transformations: Towards Legal Empowerment that Strengthens Arab Value-Based Depth and the Role of Civil Society Organizations in Supporting Youth Issues.”

The paper highlighted the importance of legislative and legal frameworks in protecting young people and strengthening their ability to address challenges arising from digital transformations. It emphasized the importance of providing a supportive legal environment that safeguards young people’s rights and freedoms while enhancing their awareness of their rights and responsibilities in the digital space.

The paper also addressed the pivotal role of civil society organizations in providing legal and awareness-raising support to young people, contributing to the promotion of positive values, and strengthening their active participation in society, thereby contributing to building stronger, more cohesive, and sustainable communities.

“Tadamon” expressed its appreciation to the organizers of the conference and to the partnership that enabled its contribution to this scientific dialogue on youth issues. It also reaffirmed the importance of continuing scientific and institutional dialogue on the challenges facing young people, particularly amid rapidly evolving digital transformations.
