Following “Tadamon’s” paper on the 2026 General Secondary Education Certificate results, which highlighted the notable representation of female students among the Kingdom’s top achievers, Al-Araby Al-Jadeed published an in-depth report examining the gap between girls’ educational achievement and women’s economic participation in the labor market.

The report draws on data and analysis published by the Jordanian Women’s Solidarity Institute (SIGI), while expanding the discussion to examine women’s realities in education and the labor market, as well as the challenges that hinder the translation of educational achievement into broader economic participation.
