Amman – Ms. Samar Al-Jabara, Legal Advisor at the Jordanian Women’s Union Institute “Solidarity,” delivered an awareness-raising lecture at Qanadeel Al-Rahma Charity Association, addressing key legal rights of orphans under Jordanian legislation, in the presence of a number of mothers.

During the lecture, Ms. Al-Jabara addressed several legal issues related to the rights of orphaned children, including custody, guardianship, legal authority, and the mandatory will (Wasiyyah Wajiba). She also explained the procedures for obtaining an inheritance determination (estate inventory), dividing the inheritance, and removing co-ownership (partition of jointly owned property).

Ms. Al-Jabara also responded to the mothers’ questions and inquiries and provided legal clarifications on the various issues raised, contributing to enhancing their awareness of their rights and the rights of their children and enabling them to better understand the relevant legal procedures.

The lecture is part of the Jordanian Women’s Union Institute “Solidarity” efforts to promote legal awareness and enhance knowledge of Jordanian legislation, contributing to the protection of women’s and children’s rights and strengthening their access to legal information and services.
