The Jordanian Women’s Union Institute Solidarity participated, represented by its Legal Consultant, Ms. Samar Al-Jabra, in the launch event of the 22nd Annual Report of the National Centre for Human Rights held in Amman.

During the event, the annual report was presented, addressing a number of human rights-related issues and topics, including issues concerning women, children, and persons with disabilities, in addition to administrative detention, dog-bite incidents, and the impact of climate change on human rights.

As part of the discussions and interventions, Legal Consultant Samar Al-Jabraraised a question regarding the National Centre’s follow-up on the human rights issues of vulnerable and most at-risk groups through monitoring and documentation, and whether such follow-up is carried out through mechanisms and strategies that contribute to reducing these groups’ exposure to violence and facilitating their access to protection mechanisms.

The Jordanian Women’s Union Institute “Solidarity” remains committed to participating in events and meetings addressing human rights and the rights of women and the most vulnerable groups, and to contributing to discussions on these issues.
